Renault F1, Altran want new talent

Wanna be part of the Formula One buzz? No, not selling Cokes at the track or taking camera phone pictures of track babes, but truly being part of a top, championship-winning team? ING Renault F1 Team and Altran are launching the newest and latest edition of the Altran Engineering Academy.

You’ve seen the previous winners and heard/read what they said: “During the last 6 months I spent here in the UK, I got the chance to work on one of the most exciting projects that a graduated mechanical engineer can possibly dream of. Without any doubt, working for a F1 Team is like a dream come true for me and I still feel very grateful to Altran for offering me this wonderful opportunity,” 2007 winner Josef Dubský.

Entry forms have already begun flooding in ahead of the May 15 deadline, so if you wish to spend sic months in the deepest trenches of F1, learning about extremely hi-tech engineering and technical innovation then this is the competition for you. Only one winner can be picked, and a number of previous participants now work for the team.

Rules and entry information can be accessed through the Altran website.
